Practically channeling the legendary singer, Bumpus moves from joy to sorrow and every emotion in between as she uses her incredible voice to sing so many favorites including a show-stopping “God Bless the Child.”

I’ve been to a lot of shows in the last five years, but have never had an audience give a standing ovation at the end of the first act as they did when Bumpus sang that signature song before intermission. Bumpus laid it all out on the stage and the wrenching emotion of the song produced visceral reactions
from the audience
